Over the period of time, in the new millenia, they are realizing that it was ( is ) wrong. Since many millenniums they have been under discretion and its intolerable for them anymore.
These are females of our society.
There are many who are raising a voice against these stereotypes and getting a good support and like minded people in both genders. Fair Enough.
IHM says here that Girls are not inviting any one to watch them or scrutinize them by wearing western outfits or any thing for that matter because none of business of people but who ever are wearing them.
Why do they even care about it?
Why does a girl think about it when she can just go her way with out even checking who that guy is?
( Here I am not asking anyone to avoid any sort of molestation.)
Why does a girl think about what society will do, when its evident that society don't have enough guts to stand against a sound lady??

I seriously didn't get what you trying to say. If it's about a girl's dressing style then we do feel awkward when a guy ogles at us but we cannot stop wearing what we like because of such guys.

I mean they ( Girls )can over ride it...then why so much noise?
Makk girls are not really free to wear what is comfortable or preferable to them - what a woman wears is everybody's business it seems. The first restriction comes form home and then the society - the neighbours, uncles and aunties, mother in laws, husbands, brothers...
In some places (like in the middle east) there are legal restrictions.
In India there are people like Muthalik who have ideas about how other citizens (mainly female) should dress.
There is endless harassment and when there are crimes committed against them, they are blamed for being dressed wrong. I have given examples in the post.
Many colleges too have rules about how girls dress.

I dont care wat others think about my dressing way.i just wear wat i like n feel comfortable to wear.and there r not as such much restrictions frm my parents too.so as it is,i dont care much about others.

The society has to become more open minded when it comes to dressing style of girls. We just cannot wear whatever we want and walk on the road, because people stare and comment.
