Hmmm...exactly..but for the one who stand away from the society creating their own powers have made the time moved for them......

Makk said...

You can count them on your figure tips...

I am talking about ...whole Fairer Half.

Hmmm! I guess its high time we do something about it rather than just complaining about it.
Nice post!
All the best for BAT. :)

Hm.An interesting take on the topic. Not sure if status of women really has not improved though. Apparently these days Nordics are a female dominant society. Would be interesting to see how that happened.

Wow, Amazing post, Makk! How did I miss this one?

Even though the content is less, it speaks volumes about the status of women through the ages.. Great going!

All the Best for BATOM-8!

Well,
I guess it's not at all true, as women are becoming aware of the rights entitled to them and they are also beginning to fight, there will be a day in the near future, where Men Reservation bill will be waiting to get finalized :D

Good post though, a touch up of grammar is needed here and there :)

Cheers!

#Nupur

There are many to realize including those called well educated woman, its just taking a step is too hard to do for them.

anyway

Keep smiling.

Makk said...

#Pawan

How many of them are really living with their own terms conditions??

Its not very nice to mention that hardly 1% of world female population, is what we can say liberated living life on their terms.

Is it very changed situation?

Even its worse then earlier.

Here I would like to mention that if you are seeing all educated woman as free and liberated then you are definitely on mistake.

Even their woman don't have right to choose hat they want to study or where can go for an outing.

they do as they are asked to do.

Disturbing facts, but a sad state of affairs indeed.......glad to see such a post!!

I unfortunately agree with you. But there is hope. Women today are catching up - raising their voices against injustice done to them. They are climbing the ladder. I know it's not much. But there is hope!

Ofcourse there is hope in every thing.

Its looooooooooooong time they are living on mere hope.

brilliant post indeed things are the same high time we take something in our own hands

Unknown Wanderer said...

I know you can count them on your finger tips ...but they become future role models for this current Gen-x and thats how they move the time.
And as it is said that to see the change be the change....when one does the others will follow in suit because all want a bright future with equality in everything(almost of the population).
And the ones who like to be pitied are having fun in their situation(thats what it can be called cause they have grown used to such pities) and they want no more than what they currently have acquired these types of blog for there state(taking this only as example there are many others).
The others who will to have the change will surely get it by hook or by crook.

Makk said...

#Monika

Welcome!

surely. you can command your vicinity. hopefully.

as far as I know....so called Gen X...(who want to change the way life is for them, not just by Age, they can be 16 or 60 years old)....are very few.

Brilliant post Makk!!

I remember reading about Martin Luther King Jr saying that he knew eventually, over centuries racism will end, but why should he accept the injustice of so much delay ...

I feel the same for gender-bias. Maybe after many more women have been battered or burnt, after millions of girl babies have been killed by sex-selection or by neglect... we do need stop our reservations against women participating in public life.

The playing field is not level even today :( If they aren't even allowed to play, how do they win?

Makk said...

#IHM

unfortunately women are their own biggest enemies.

I hope for a better future.

Keep Visiting.

Rambler said...

Hey the time travel doesn't have to include only the bad things. Things are much better for women now. Sure things could improve, but its not as bad as you make it out to be.

It's true that things are really skewed. On one hand there are independent women who live life on their own terms and on the other there are women who still have to depend on others.

Makk said...

# Rambler

First of all welcome here!

I accept your views..

but I want to mention few thing to you, as follows:

1. a handful of whole female population was living in ease and bliss and have enjoyed their femininity in all spheres of life, irrespective of time & place.
but that doesn't mean that situation has changed...

2. when I addressed this post I was addressing a majority of female population.

I can quote you example from every caste, creed, society, race and financial status that women are still have miles to go ....rather I would say they have hardly crawled... in millenniums..

Thanks for commenting.

Keep visiting.
